XpressionFM Sport commentaries are full of passion, energy, and excellent analysis of all the action from Exeter's top sport clubs. Our commentators sit in the press boxes at St James Park and Sandy Park, detailing every piece of action to our eager listeners. Exeter City and Exeter Chiefs have kindly agreed to supply us with press passes for their games across the season, whilst opportunities to cover other sports are also available. Our 2021/22 Head of Sport, Tom Picillo, even managed to interview the Three-time Darts World Champion, Michael Van Gerwen, after commentating on the Premier League Darts at Westpoint Arena.
Our former heads of sports (respectively), Tom Picillo (2021/2022) and Mikhail Skhlover (2022/2023) won the award for the best sports programming for their emotional commentary on the promotion of Exeter City FC to EFL League One at the SRA Awards in 2022.
